Our client is a highly regarded Australian owned company, who is leading the way in pump manufacturing. They are seeking an experienced
**Powder Coater** to work on day shift starting at 6am.

**This is ongoing position with a possible view to permanency.**

**Monday to Friday, minimum of 38 hours/week**

**Powder Coating Requirement**:

- Prepare all product in the acid bath while adhering to all safe work practices and wearing the correct PPE.
- Maintain the wash system by cleaning tanks and notifying team leaders regarding maintenance issues.
- Confident to operate hoists & cranes.
- Inspect product for quality and rectify defects as required.
- Ensure equipment is always in safe operating condition and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Previous experience in operation of a Powder Coating system would be an advantage

**Duties**:

- Perform Checks and starts the assembly/production machinery at the beginning of the shift
- Monitors equipment to ensure products are being assembled
- Assembles product parts by hand on production line and machinery
- Use of power tools to cut, tighten, solder, drill and attach parts
- Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards
- Removes faulty product parts from assembly line

**Qualifications**:

- Background working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong practical skills
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Able to perform multitask in a fast-paced production environment with flexible work schedule
- Capable of lifting to 10kg
