Working as part of an energetic and safety-conscious team, you'll play a key role in supporting packing operations by loading, unloading, and moving produce, packaging, and equipment.
This is a physical, hands-on role where attention to safety and efficiency is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll be responsible for operating forklifts to move produce, packaging, and equipment safely and effectively.
Duties include but are not limited to:Loading and unloading picking booms, trailers, bin tippers, and trucksStacking picking bins and placing them in coldroom or storage areasUsing forklifts to palletise and stage ordersScanning bins into packing batches and completing relevant monitoring recordsBringing pallets of packaging to the shed as requiredManaging bulk bins and rubbish bins, including set-up and removalMoving and unloading CHEP pallets and delivery trucksRefilling spare LPG bottles as neededAdhering to all food hygiene and forklift safety rulesBenefits$33.19 per hour plus penalty rates3-month role with potential for ongoing seasonal work38+ hours per week across 6 days during packhouse operationsSupportive and collaborative team environmentGreat opportunity to develop further forklift and packhouse skillsYour Skills & ExperienceTo be successful, you'll need:A current Australian Forklift LicenceFlexibility to work 6 days per week when requiredA strong work ethic and commitment to safetyPrevious packhouse or horticultural experience (advantageous but not essential)Choose Agri Labour AustraliaAgri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
