The Brisbane Produce Market is Queensland's only central fruit and vegetable market, and the state's most important centre for the wholesale marketing and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables. It records an annual trade in excess of 700 million kilograms of produce valued at more than $2 billion.

As a representative of these employers, Brismark is currently searching for a Cashier to work with an established and respected business at the Brisbane Markets.

This role has a variety of tasks and opportunities, unique to the wholesale produce industry. It is permanent, Monday to Friday, starting 6am daily.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Process daily banking, cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Data entry
- Customer service
- Record keeping
- Support to the Admin and Sales teams as required
- to be able to multitask
- excellent numerical skills
- high attention to detail
- problem solving skills
- exceptional customer service skills.
- own transport
- experience with Fresh system an advantage

A mature and responsible work ethic is required to be successful in this role.
