As the Vendor Manager - Investments, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of vendors who provide systems and financial market data for the Investment team. You will partner with people throughout Investments, legal, finance and technology to ensure that vendors supporting HESTA Investments perform in accordance with their contractual Service Level Agreements and/or Relationship Governance Charters.

Reporting to the General Manager Investment Data and Systems, you will ensure rigorous commercial management across all investment systems and data vendors covering contracts, invoices and licensing. You will develop and maintain an approach for measuring overall vendor performance focused on contractual compliance, satisfaction levels and reporting.

With a keen eye for detail and a flair for stakeholder engagement, you will become the SME on investment data and systems vendors that we use, being the go to person and supporting engagement with HESTA vendors for estimates for new work, aligning priorities, work with project managers to ensure BAU releases and minor projects are delivered in line within agreed guidelines.

About you

You will have significant experience in a similar role, managing relationships with investment market data and systems providers and you will be able to demonstrate deep commercial management experience covering multiple simultaneous contracts where you have identified opportunities for commercial savings and process efficiencies. You will have knowledge of investments, financial market data providers and investment systems.

Key to success is a proven ability to develop positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and use your project management skills to communicate clear expectations with both technical and business teams. Exceptional negotiation, management and decision-making skills leveraged to obtain optimal contractual outcomes with vendors is critical.
