**Duties and Responsibilities**

This role requires a range of duties, including but not limited to:

- Dismantling of engines and components
- Cleaning of all engine parts - ultrasonic, hot tank and wash tanks
- Hydro blast of engine components
- Cylinder Head machining
- Buffing of cylinder head components
- Engine Assembly preparation
- Engine block and cylinder head preparation
- General duties when requested
- We may also assign you other duties, where reasonable for your position, training and experience.

NB: This is a physically demanding role and so a good level of fitness and stamina is required. Previous automotive experience is not essential as this is an entry level position and full training will be provided.

**Skills, Experience and Attributes Required (selection Criteria)**:

- An interest in working within the automotive trade
- Ability to use hand/other tools and good manual dexterity
- Able to follow procedures and processes
- Able to work as part of a team

**Qualifications Required**
- Car driver's licence (essential)

**Hours of work**

You are expected to work 38 ordinary hours per week. We may also request or require you to work additional hours if the additional hours are reasonable.
- Monday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Tuesday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Wednesday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Thursday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am to 2:45pm

**Additional Information**: There is a probationary period of 6-months. Employment terms and conditions are based on the Vehicle Repair, Services and Retail Award 2020 (MA000089). **Any overtime is paid at double time.**
