Key Role Summary:
This role is critical to the future success of our organisation as we embark on a major digital transformation journey.
As a seasoned leader, you will have a strong voice and real impact in shaping strategic whole-of-business technology implementations and modernisations.
Develop and execute enterprise-wide digital and data strategies that ensure technology solutions are scalable, secure, and sustainable
Advocate for national standards to align initiatives with privacy legislation and strategic goals
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of integration platforms, including Enterprise Patient Master Index (EMPI) and API Management Platforms
Implement robust change, release, and operational support practices (e.g., HL7, FHIR), ensuring integration platforms meet interoperability, scalability, and performance standards
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, building strong relationships with clinical, operational, and digital stakeholders. Manage vendor and government relationships, representing the organisation in national forums and industry working groups
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of integration specialists and project officers, building capability and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities:
This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage multiple priorities, build high-performing teams, and drive business outcomes through technology-enabled solutions.
Manage projects for relevant lifecycle activities, ensuring they align with enterprise architecture, clinical/business priorities, and governance requirements
Oversee daily support operations, including incident and problem management, to maintain service continuity and responsiveness to operational needs
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving organisational change
Strong technical skills in integration platforms, APIs, and related technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Experience in managing budgets and resources to deliver business outcomes
Knowledge of healthcare or clinical systems would be highly regarded
