The Silky Oaks Childcare Centre is a community based centre providing programs for children aged from birth to five years. As a long day care centre we offer a Kindergarten program, large outdoor play areas, high worker-to-child ratios, and individualised educational programs for all age groups. The Centre is located in Manly West, Queensland campus and opens Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm.

The Childcare Centre is seeking to employ dedicated, enthusiastic and confident Lead Educator to work in our 0-2 year age group and Assistant Educators (across the age groups) to be part of the committed and professional Early Years team.

**Role requirements**:
**Lead Educator**:

- Experience working in a Lead Educator role.
- Experience working with babies (0-2 years), or willingness to lead in that capacity.
- possess or studying a Diploma of Early Childhood, Education & Care or equivalent qualification.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Good programming and child development documentation skills that complies with the requirements of the National Quality Framework.

**Assistant Educator**:

- possess or studying a Certificate 3 of Early Childhood, Education & Care
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Understanding and ability to contribute to child development documentation that complies with the requirements of the National Quality Framework.

**Additional requirements for these roles**:

- Australian Working Rights
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Valid Blue Card (Paid).
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certification
- Excellent personal presentation.
- Flexibility in the days and rostered hours of work, as the service operates between 7am and 6pm.
- Attend monthly evening staff meetings.
