**About the role**:
The Sales Assistant will collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager, Marketing Department and the Enhance Training team to enhance the overall academic experience. The role is crucial in assisting students and staff in navigating the academic programs and course offerings within the organisation. This position is responsible for providing guidance and support to students in selecting the right courses to meet their academic goals, ensuring compliance with academic policies and regulations, and facilitating a smooth academic journey for all students.

**Key responsibilities**:

- ** Course scheduling and registration**: Manage and respond to incoming student course enquiries. Help students register for courses. Collaborate with other team members to develop and maintain course schedules.
- ** Academic advising and support**: Provide academic guidance to students on program requirements, course selection, and enrolment process. Conduct language, literacy, and numeracy testing as required. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of academic policies, degree requirements, and program offerings.
- ** Collaboration with sales and marketing**: Working within the sales team and closely with marketing departments to align academic programs and course offerings with market demand. Assist in creating and implementing enrolment strategies to attract prospective students. Plan and execute/attend events, including information sessions and education expos, to showcase academic programs and encourage student enrolment. Ensure offering of all products through Business-to-Business sales. Provide input on marketing materials and strategies to promote courses and programs effectively. Working with sales teams to track and manage leads, converting them into enrolled students. Proactively build the Hessel group and Enhance Training network and contacts to increase referrals.
- ** Collaboration with the Enhance Training team**: Ensure seamless enrolment and registration processes, and assist the Learner Support Services team with the timely completion of interpretation reports.
- ** Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of student interactions and academic plans on the organisation's software platforms, including Student Management System and HubSpot
- ** Policy and procedure compliance**:Ensure that all academic advising activities adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

**Qualifications & Attributes**:

- Bachelor's degree in education or counselling (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales (preferred)
- Proven experience in business-to-business and business-to-consumer experience (preferred)
- High-level communication skills
- Ability to build rapport whilst providing a collaborative and solutions-based sales approach.
- Strong innovation and initiative with a growth and continuous improvement mindset
- Values-based individual with high levels of integrity.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to helping students.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales/enrolment targets.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in MS Office and Outlook
