About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a great opportunity for a Lead Asset Performance Analyst to join our Maritime Sustainment Line of Business.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and/ or hybrid working.
You will be responsible for the management of asset's Performance, Cost and Risk analysis tasks for the DDG Materiel System. The Analyst will contribute to the long term optimisation of performance and cost outcomes for the Guided Missile Destroyers (DDG) Hobart class ship and related shore systems.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Determine requirements and approach for cost, performance and risk analyses in order to provide decision support and meet objectives
- Determine data requirements to feed various periodic and ad-hoc analyses and establish enduring data sourcing, architecture in Ext DMS and data quality control processes
- Manage program of work for Analyst team, generally encompassing data processing and analysis activities (data cleansing, manipulation, validation, statistical analysis, reporting)
- Preparation of reports to support business cases and decision making using the outputs from performance, cost and risk analysis activities
- Planning and costing of analyses activity, assessment of tools, development and management of analyses plans, processes and framework
- Defining and executing out ad-hoc, exploratory and proof of concept analysis outside of established analyses architecture and processes
- Define, commission and manage specific projects to carry out any of the above activities using external resources

About YOU
- Working knowledge of Engineering, Maintenance and Financial policies and procedures
- Experience with Logistics Support Analysis processes and development of asset performance evaluation framework
- Highly proficient in BI (Business Intelligence) tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical methods including, data manipulation and visualisation
- Understanding of the System Engineering lifecycle
- Experience with internal and external stakeholder management
- Eligibility to attain a Defence Clearance
