We are a family owned and operated remedial building company specialising in Strata, Insurance works && renovations throughout Sydney.We are seeking a supervisor with remedial building & renovation experience to join our expanding team working on various projects.About the roleThe suitable applicant will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering quality projects on time and within the specified budgets, if applicant has an Estimator background to assist where required is a bonus.The position involves:Allocating, supervising and managing trades (employees), sub contractors & suppliers
Scheduling of materials and trades to job sites
Negotiating Trade & Supplier pricing
Undertaking site inspections
Deliver projects on time and within budget
Preparing quotations, scope of works & reports
Creating job specific SWMS
Overseeing daily works on multiple sites, ensuring OH&S standards are met at all times
Planning & scheduling jobs in a timely manner ensuring smooth operation from start to finish & to high standards
Ability to problem solve when issues arise
Developing contractor & client relationships
Meeting KPI's
Skills & ExperienceMinimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Trade background & qualifications required
Excellent time management & problem solving skills
Well organised and driven individual with the initiative & drive to meet deadlines and budgets
Knowledge of the relevant Australian standards, WHS & Regulations
Excellent communication skills
Able to work well with employees, clients & contractors
Experience using Microsoft office & job management software
RemunerationFull Time
$80,000 + Super + Car Allowance
