**Your new role**

The Waste and Recycling team is focused on delivery waste management services to the local community. The role requires you to support recycling and waste management operations across the Council's five waste and recycling facilities.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Diverting and presenting waste items for sale at the Logan Recycling Market.
- Directing customers from waste and recycling facilities to the appropriate disposal locations.
- Directing traffic away from plants and machinery when they are in operation in publicly accessible areas to maintain exclusion zones.
- Collaborating with plant operators to compact waste bin disposal bins and waste stockpiles around the site.
- Proactively communicating through radio provided at the respective waste and recycling facilities.
- Reporting any hazards or incidents / near misses observed to supervisors at the sites.
