We are looking for a talented and creative UI Designer to join our growing design team in Melbourne. As a UI Designer, you'll play a key role in crafting visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for a wide range of digital products. Your work will impact how users interact with our products, and you'll collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to bring engaging and seamless designs to life.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- Craft Engaging Interfaces: Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
- Transform Ideas into Reality: Turn wireframes, user flows, and product requirements into high-quality designs from start to finish
- Collaborate with UX Designers: Work closely with the UX team to ensure your designs enhance the overall user experience
- Build Design Systems: Create and maintain style guides, colour palettes, typography, and reusable components to ensure consistency across products.
- Team Up with Developers: Collaborate to ensure smooth implementation of your UI Designers
- Incorporate Feedback: Use input from stakeholders, users, and cross-functional teams to continually refine and improve your designs
- Test and Iterate: Conduct usability testing and adjust designs based on user feedback and data.Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with the latest UI trends, tools, and techniques to keep your designs fresh and innovative
- Focus on Results: Concentrate on UI work to make an immediate impact on the PH team while the Australian team handles more nuanced UX aspects.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:

- Proven Experience: A strong portfolio showcasing your work as a UI Designer or in a similar role.
- Design Tool Proficiency: Experience with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- User Centered Mindset: A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design
- Design Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with maintaining consistency across multiple products using design systems and component libraries
- Strong Communicator: Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detailed Orientated - A passion for creating beautiful, user-friendly interfaces.
- Bonus Skills: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with usability testing and user research practices are a plus
- Agile Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
