**The Role**

Are you a talented Technical Writer in the Plant Industry - and seeking a six month contract / casual role - and an opportunity to work in a dynamic business that puts "People First". In this role you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the effectiveness of how MACA delivers services to our valued clients.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Technical Writer** to join our team. You will be responsible for adapting material from existing manuals and technical documents into a consistent format for use by site maintenance personnel working in **mobile plant maintenance.** This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a good working knowledge of mechanical maintenance practices.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Proficiency in MS Word.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer.
- Strong understanding of mobile plant maintenance practices.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Either a **Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade** background or **Mechanical Engineer** with asset management or reliability background.
