Document Writers / Technical Writer

8:6 Roster | 6-Month Contract | $80–$90 per hour

We are recruiting experienced Document Writers to join a site-based team. This role will support ongoing mining operations by reviewing, updating, and maintaining technical documentation for fixed plant equipment.

What's on offer:

  • $80–$90 per hour (depending on experience)
  • 8:6 roster | 12-hour shifts
  • Site-based role

Key responsibilities:

  • Create, review, and update technical documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, operation manuals, and procedures
  • Ensure documents are compliant, accurate, and aligned with current processes
  • Maintain version control and manage document lifecycle
  • Collaborate with inspectors, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify and capture technical data

What we're looking for:

  • Mechanical or Electrical trade background (preferred)
  • 3+ years' experience in technical document writing, ideally within mining fixed plant operations
  • Proficiency with SAP, SharePoint, and MS Office
  • Strong planning, time management, and attention to detail
