**ROLE SUMMARY**:

- Inspired Education is a leading global premium schools group, offering excellence in Kindergarten to Year 13 education to over 60,000 students. Its international network of 80 schools, across 23 countries on five continents, delivers proven best practice from every corner of the globe to ensure our learning is world-class. Based in Sydney Australia we are currently seeking an HR Consultant to work as part of our Asia Pacific HR team providing a broad variety of HR services to Reddam House School and our Sydney based early learning schools. This is a 12 month fixed term assignment with the potential for extension.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide Principals, Directors, Deputy's and staff with advice, support and coaching on HR policies, procedures and practices, ensuring outcomes are within policy framework and legislative requirements;
- Manage employee on-boarding experience, including administering contracts and loading into relevant HR systems
- Oversee, regularly review and administer HR compliance processes and practices including:

- Training and development requirements for teachers and directors;
- Support Principals, Directors and Deputy's with performance practices and issues;
- Support Health and safety practices, including managing worker injuries and worker's compensation, including return to work.
- Conducting pre-employment checks for all School employees, including verification of individuals' Working With Children (WWC) checks and Teachers' NESA accreditation;
- Maintaining employment policies and procedures consistent with employment legislation;

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- Demonstrated experience in a HR Generalist or Advisor role;
- Ability to interpret Enterprise Agreement/Awards, policy and action accordingly;
- Working knowledge of Workers Compensation processes and RTW requirements;
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Experience within the Education sector is desirable;
- A relevant tertiary qualification in HR or related field is also preferred.
