About us

We exist for better days inspired by iconic flavour. It's been three decades since Michael Allpress set up his first independent coffee cart. He bought a second-hand roaster and embarked on a bold entrepreneurial journey fueled by passion and the search for great flavour. Our little coffee cart helped introduce specialty coffee to New Zealand and changed the drinking habits of a nation. Today, we roast coffee for the best independent cafés in the world.

About the role

Our small Roastery is the heart of the business and is run by a crew who are hardworking, no fuss and passionate about coffee. You'll join the team to:
Roast and pack coffee beans

Drive and deliver beans to our customers in Sydney

Pack and prepare online orders

Maintain the tidiness of the roastery and warehouse

About you

Ideally you'll come from a Roastery, distribution or barista background or be someone who is passionate about coffee, loves working as part of a team and wants to develop their career in the industry. To nail this role you'll need:
A friendly manner, curiosity for coffee and a willingness to learn

A full drivers license

A no fuss approach to working in a team.

Passion for coffee and desire to develop your career in the industry

Warehouse, pick packing or coffee experience a plus

Forklift license would be ideal

**Due to the delivery component of this position a full driver's license is a must and some heavy lifting of coffee sacks is involved.
