**The Role**

The role of the Information & Drafting Officer provides administrative and technical expertise in information management with a focus on **drawing management**.

This role sits within the Generation Information Management (Gen IM) team and closely **supports** the **Engineering and Digital / Drafting team** in the ongoing development and improvement of information systems integrity, processes, and automation.

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Support the implementation and document control processes.
- Prioritise and respond to IM / drafting helpdesk requests within expected time frames.
- Provide support and administration on matters relating to information and drawing management, approval workflows and information portals.
- Assist Generation & Development staff to improve overall quality of document/drawing management processes.
- Ensure appropriate security of documents and drawings with regard to requests for information.
- Provide quality customer service in a timely manner.
- Contributes to overall team effectiveness.
- Ensure ongoing performance in line with Origin performance process.
- Continual review and improvement of related guidelines and procedures

**About you**
- Experience in an information or drafting focused role.
- Knowledge of drawing management products and services (eg AutodeskVault, AutoCAD, Blue Beam)
- Well developed written and oral communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships;
- Ability to prioritise helpdesk requests and coordinate workload in a team
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, the environment and workplace diversity.
