Join to apply for the HR Graduate Trainee role at Societe GeneraleContinue with Google Continue with GoogleJoin to apply for the HR Graduate Trainee role at Societe GeneraleResponsibilitiesMajor Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:The HR team in Australia is responsible for the full spectrum of HR activities onshore and for the deployment of all global, regional and local initiatives, working in close partnership with the offshore and regional HR teams.ResponsibilitiesMajor Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:The HR team in Australia is responsible for the full spectrum of HR activities onshore and for the deployment of all global, regional and local initiatives, working in close partnership with the offshore and regional HR teams.The successful candidate will contribute to the following activities:Workforce Administration: support the employee life cycle including onboarding, employee due diligence (background screening), mobility management, immigration, relocation services, offboarding, leave management, etc.Data Quality, Analytics and Reporting: monitor the accuracy of data captured in the HR information system, monitor the delivery of the offshore HR teams, produce reports and data to assist with decision making and for internal committee usage, prepare for and support audit and compliance tasks, completion of 1st level operational risk controlsHR Campaigns: provide administration support in the full spectrum of campaigns throughout the year including objective setting and appraisal, training, employee barometer, benefits, etc.Vendor and invoice management: monitor vendor contract status, complete compliance and onboarding due diligence for new vendors, ensure that invoices are received and processed in a timely mannerAd hoc support as required on other HR team tasksProfile requiredQualifications, Experience & Knowledge RequiredTertiary qualification with specialization in HR, psychology, business or related discipline or equivalent professional experienceHighly proficient user of PowerPoint and Excel, with an interest in reporting, analytics and the compelling presentation of dataBehavioral Competency Required:Keen interest in the HR functionMeticulous with a strong attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of qualityReliable and enthusiastic team player with an ability to work independently, sometimes under pressureStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships with individuals from a broad variety of personal and professional backgroundsMature with a strong sense of confidentiality in the handling of sensitive informationFunctional Relationships:Internal: regional HR teams, local business heads, compliance, legal, finance, staff from all functionsExternal: professional services firms, HR providers and vendorsWe are currently looking for an HR Graduate Trainee to join us on a 12-month fixed term basis.
