AAA has a multi-disciplinary team approach, building a quality support service around the needs and goals of our participants and their family.
Job Description
We are expanding our team in Alexandria and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated independent Registered Psychologist Contractor to join us in making a positive impact in our community. We are looking for Registered Psychologists in Penrith with experience working with NDIS participants.
In this role you will
Managing a caseload of NDIS Participants across the lifespan and from varying socio-cultural backgrounds and completing therapeutic processes in a timely manner.
Undertaking comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, and interpreting findings to collaboratively determine and achieve goals that align with NDIS Plan goals.
Delivering person-centred, tailored interventions with a systemic focus, including delivery of therapeutic support and training to stakeholders.
Monitoring, interpreting, reporting and addressing signs and symptoms of risk and acute distress that may arise during any therapeutic interventions.
Providing written reports to NDIS outlining progress reviews and ongoing areas of need.
Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications
Current
general registration
with AHPRA.
Experience working with NDIS participants.
Excellent time management, communication and writing skills.
Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
Police clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Active ABN.
