As a Personal Care Workerwith us, you will work with our residents living in our beautiful Blue Mountains facility and be responsible for providing quality care to residents to ensure their wellbeing.

**We have multiple casual positions with a variety of morning, afternoon and night shifts available.**

If you have completed a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or if you are currently studying a qualification in Nursing, we encourage you to apply

- Have completed Certificate III in Individual Care or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in aged care nursing
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles
- Have sound written and verbal communication skills
- Have strong organisational and time management skills
- Be proactive, flexible and willing to show initiative
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team and able to accept direction
- Have a basic knowledge of computers
- Valid NDIS Workers Clearance and working rights within Australia

**Duties of the position**:

- Assist residents with their daily care needs including showering, dressing and meals
- Ensure each residents dignity, privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Ensure safe use of equipment to assist residents with limited mobility
- Ensure delivery of quality care to each resident as specified on their individual care plan
- Demonstrate an awareness of the physical, social and emotional needs of each resident
- Noting and reporting changes in physical, behavioural or emotional wellbeing of each resident to the registered nurse, in a timely manner
