This role provides strategic oversight and governance across the program, ensuring delivery aligns with investment plans, schedules, and the Group's strategic intent.
You'll work closely with the Program Director to manage reporting, governance, risk, and stakeholder engagement—driving operational excellence and transparency across all workstreams.As a key member of the Program Enablement & PMO team, you'll help drive the successful delivery of the UNITE program by embedding strong governance, structured support, and consistent standards.
The team plays a pivotal role in aligning delivery to strategic priorities—enabling faster decisions, early risk identification, and seamless collaboration across business, technology, and delivery streams.This role will play a crucial part of the UNITE team.

UNITE is about delivering 'one best way' to make our processes, systems and tech simpler so we can deliver a better experience for our customers and make things easier for our people.ResponsibilitiesProgram Oversight & Strategic Alignment: Ability to track delivery against baselined schedules and benefits, ensuring alignment with strategic investment plansGovernance & Compliance Expertise: Deep understanding of Transformation Portfolio Standards (TPS) and Transformation Delivery Standards (TDS), with experience embedding governance processesIntegrated Scheduling & Dependency Management: Skilled in managing complex program schedules, interdependencies, and milestone trackingReporting & Financial Oversight: Proven ability to manage high-quality program reporting, including financial forecasting and executive-level status updatesRisk & Issue Management: Strong capability in identifying, escalating, and resolving risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies across multiple streamsChange Control & Documentation: Experience implementing change control procedures, document management systems, and maintaining program registersStakeholder Engagement: Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groupsProgram Planning & Rhythm: Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive Program Management Plan, including operating rhythm, governance forums, and delivery standardsQualificationsCandidates must have proven experience working within a Program Management Office (PMO) environment, demonstrating capabilities within financial services/BankingWhy join us?
