Job Description
This is a pivotal leadership role that plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality clinical assessment and diagnostic vascular sonographic services.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Vascular Laboratory Service
Staff rostering and supervision
Staff training and mentoring
Equipment procurement and maintenance
Liaison with hospital management to ensure alignment with strategic and operational goals
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
A Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science or another relevant health qualification
Postgraduate qualification in vascular ultrasound with extensive hands-on experience in vascular examinations
Current ASAR accreditation (Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry)
Important note: To be appointed and paid as a Medical Radiation Scientist, you must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
