**Why your role matters**

The Program Lead, Lifelong Learning (LLL) will lead the program of work to enable the success of LLL at UNSW, supporting the strategic direction of the Dean and Executive Director. In collaboration with key stakeholders, this hands-on role involves program leadership, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, change management, communication, and resource management. The Program Lead will ensure alignment with university priorities through close collaboration with colleagues across UNSW.

**About the Role**

You will be required to undertake and have experience in the following areas of expertise:

- Manage multiple workstreams of activities associated with the establishment and operations of the lifelong learning unit, including, shared service model design, process redesign, change management, communications, and project planning, execution, reporting and monitoring.
- Ensure that the program and projects collectively deliver to all the relevant strategic priorities, themes and initiatives identified in the strategy.
- Working with the Business Analyst, deliver project outcomes and sustainably implement required changes, including redesigning processes and services, and training and embedding new ways of working in teams.
- Work with teams across LLL and UNSW to assess and ensure readiness for the impact of change, plan and implement regular communication approaches, and support teams to enable smooth transition of activities and ways of working.
- Identify operational risks and challenges, prepare change and risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide timely advice and reporting on all aspects of the program to enable successful outcomes.
- Develop and deliver a range of high quality project documentation including briefing papers, reports, project plans, gant charts, viability papers, business cases, communications plans, and content for various communications channels ensuring stakeholders have been consulted for completeness, accuracy, and accessibility of information.
- Proactively identify emerging interdependencies amongst stakeholders and relate relevant requirements to appropriate business units to manage competing priorities, resources, maximise benefits, and avoid duplications in effort/outcomes.
- Direct, control, monitor, and report on the progress status of all assigned projects within the LLL program.
- Provide project management support to the LLL Dean and Executive Director, including PowerPoint presentation preparation, talking points and communications strategies.
- Design and deliver stakeholder discovery, design and engagement workshops.
- Oversee and coordinate the transition of various LLL activities across units as required.
- Build, lead and maintain effective, proactive working relationships with internal stakeholders to support the consolidation and expansion of LLL at UNSW.
- Represent LLL and provide advice relevant to purpose, audience and situation at various internal and external working groups and committees as required.

**About You**
- Relevant postgraduate qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience
- Proven advanced project management experience, with an in-depth understanding of the project life cycle and strategic development of project plans, objectives and documentation.
- Excellent consultation, influencing and negotiation skills and proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven capacity to exercise initiative, flexibility and to be proactive in development of robust solutions to problems.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
- Proven experience managing projects in a complex stakeholder environment to time and budget.
