**About the Role**

As a Finance and Statistical Analyst, you will play a vital role in our organization by analyzing complex financial and business data to facilitate decision-making. Your responsibilities will include interpreting, analysing, and reporting on various financial and business statistical data using advanced statistical techniques. You will collaborate closely with our in-house Data Scientist to derive data-driven insights that enhance our business performance and customer satisfaction.

Your duties will involve:

- Defining, analyzing, and resolving intricate financial and business challenges related to insurance premiums, annuities, superannuation funds, pensions, and dividends.
- Reviewing financial forecasts for entities such as general insurance companies, finance firms, government agencies, and other organizations.
- Developing innovative policies, assessing risks, and evaluating investments in areas like life insurance, health insurance, superannuation funds, and financial markets.
- Creating mathematical models to simulate processes and utilizing numerical analysis methods to develop algorithms and conduct computations.
- Assessing the reliability and usefulness of source information and describing data collection methods.
- Analyzing and interpreting data to produce relevant statistics that describe trends and patterns.
- Providing risk, reward, and strategy analytics for purchasing, pricing, and operational management.

Who are looking for:

- Have work experience in a related field.
- A Bachelors' Degree or higher in finance, mathematics, statistics, actuary or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Team player, with the ability to collaborate across the organisation

**Salary**: From $90,000.00 per year
