**The role**:
As part of South East Water's Corporate Strategy, we're committed to refining our processes, products, assets and services by optimising our operations. Our Integrated Planning and Delivery Model (IPD) is the new way we're planning and delivering capital works in our Liveable Water Solutions group, and this helps us optimise our operations by streamlining processes and allowing early contractor involvement.
A rare and exciting opportunity now exists for a Group Manager, Integrated Planning. Reporting into the General Manager, Liveable Water Solutions (LWS), this role is responsible for the strategic leadership and governance of both South East Water (SEW) employees as well as its partner employees, with accountability for planning SEW's Capital Projects for the Integrated Planning and Delivery (IPD) Model.
This role exists to lead the Integrated Planning Team within the IPD Model to co-create plans and designs with delivery partners, to meet SEW's future needs, taking into account the challenges and opportunities of population growth. The role will ensure SEW is well planned for future works with a pipeline of projects prepared well in advance.
**Who are you?**:
To be considered for this position, you should have experience in a leadership role and possess skills and experience in the following areas:
- Planning, design and construction of water industry infrastructure
- Strong experience and capability with procurement
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative contracting relationships
- Financial management including demand and capital forecasting
- Strong experience with risk management methodologies
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science or Asset Management, mandatory
- CPENG, preferred
