About the School
Nambour State College is a Prep - Year 12 Independent Public School situated in the picturesque township of Nambour on the Sunshine Coast. About the Role
As the Deputy Principal (Primary), you will have responsibility for the following:

- Assist the Principal and work collaboratively with the Executive Team P-12 to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing educational excellence for all learners.
- Lead within the context of Primary Education to support successful learning outcomes, supporting pathways and future aspirations of our students.
- Display high quality leadership that directly influences the engagement, improvement, achievement and wellbeing of staff, students and our community
- Uphold the Deputy Principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Leading Teaching and Learning specific to the Junior Campus aligned to the College's strategic agenda.
- Form positive relationships with students, staff and parents, for the betterment of all in our organisation.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling.
- Manage both physical and human resources to achieve goals.
- Deliver operational requirements within the Junior Campus Primary School context
- Assume the leadership of a Primary school student cohort developing relationships between staff, students and parents in order to support the engagement of all students and to promote positive learning outcomes.
- Empowering every student to experience academic success through inclusive practices that enable access, participation purposeful engagement and yearly growth in learning.
- Develop the capability of teachers and leaders within the school community that has a focus on being collaborative and strategic.
