To assist the Cleaning Team in delivering quality service and building strong relationships with both the team and clients.
Activities, Duties & Responsibilities
Janitors and Cleaners
are responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning and maintenance duties. As specific tasks may vary, these professionals must show flexibility in performing assigned duties as outlined below.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of ASC Training Excellence. Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers. A driver's license and vehicle are helpful. Smartphones are essential for clocking in/out and communication.
Personal Appearance
Employees must maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance at all times. Conduct must be professional and ethical. Attire should be appropriate to the work being performed, with corporate attire required during normal duties to reflect the professionalism of the company.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities for Janitors and Cleaners:
Empty and clean all waste containers; remove waste paper and garbage to designated areas; damp wipe containers.
Empty and clean all ashtrays; monitor and replenish sand in sand urns as needed.
Dust all picture frames, charts, graphs, and wall hangings.
Damp dust ceiling air conditioning diffusers, partition grilles, registers, and other ventilating louvers.
Dust the outside surfaces of light fixtures, including glass and plastic enclosures.
Vacuum all mats and carpeted areas in workplaces, lobbies, and corridors.
Hand dust and clean office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills, and other flat surfaces.
Maintain cleanliness and order in bathrooms, sink rooms, and kitchen areas.
Wipe and buff metal hardware fixtures and other bright work.
Clean and polish tile floor surfaces as required.
Follow all security protocols and workplace regulations. Damp wipe and buff glass furnishings.
Dust and wash index boards, removing fingerprints and smudges.
Clean indoor and outdoor entry door glass.
Brush or dust mop floors and clean exterior entry areas.
Remove stains from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, light switches, and glass dividers.
Wash, clean, and sterilize water coolers. Sweep stairways and vacuum if carpeted.
Monitor stairwells and clean or mop up spills as needed.
Clean or damp mop spills in office and communal areas.
Personal Appearance
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance. Conduct oneself professionally and ethically at all times. Wear appropriate clothing for the work being performed, with corporate attire during normal duties to reflect the company's professionalism.
