It's a chance to shape both the tech strategy and digital experience, covering everything from Salesforce and martech to portals, CMS, and custom applications — front end, back end, and integrations that tie it all together.Ideal for a Principal on the rise or an Architect early in their journey who has delivered real solutions and wants to own a domain while staying close to the tech and making a real impact.What You'll Be DoingOwn architecture for the digital domain, including customer portals, mobile apps, Salesforce, martech, and the front-end, back-end, and integration layers.Set the direction — develop standards, practices, and lightweight governance where it's currently lacking.Act as a servant leader to squads, influencing without blocking, and empowering teams to own their architecture.Support broader CI/CD uplift and engineering modernization.Build real partnerships with stakeholders — both technical and business.Work closely with engineering squads to guide architectural decisions and help shape what good looks like across digital platforms.Help grow the architecture capability as the team scales from 3 to 5 in the next year.About YouYou're not just an Architect — you're a connector, enabler, and change agent.
Comfortable drawing solution diagrams as well as influencing senior stakeholders or coaching engineers.You come from Engineering and understand what makes real-world architecture work.Strong experience in digital architecture: customer-facing portals, mobile apps, websites, CMS, and the technical architecture that powers them (back-end, front-end, APIs, services, integrations).
Working knowledge of CRM architecture, preferably Salesforce, but flexible.Confident across all architectural layers: integrations, security, cloud platforms (AWS), and modern API design.Appreciation for CI/CD, DevOps, pipelines, and platform maturity.Strong business and stakeholder acumen — able to bring people along without over-engineering.Enjoys working in a small, growing architecture team, helping to shape its DNA.ExpectationsShape Something Real: Influence an evolving architecture practice and how things are done.Change That Matters: Modernize platforms and uplift digital experiences for customers and internal users.Lean, Collaborative Team: Join a close-knit team working with Principal Architects and Engineering Leads.Generous Leave: 29 days annual leave, including flexi days and Christmas shutdown.Wellbeing Support: Wellbeing budget, income protection, and hybrid work (3 days in-office).
