- Full-time or part-time negotiable, fixed term contract until 30 June 2026 based in 101 Currie Street
- Commencement Salary: $100,080 pro rata per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
**About the Role**
As the Aboriginal Engagement and Wellbeing Specialist you will support the University to provide a culturally safe and inclusive workplace for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and community.
In this role, you will also support the development and implementation of projects/initiatives aligned with UniSA's Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan 2023-2025 and Yaitya Wapulai Tappa, UniSA's Aboriginal Employment Action Plan 2023-2025.

**To Be Successful You Will Need**
- Australian Aboriginal ancestry, a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and communities and demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced by Aboriginal job seekers
- Proven experience working respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples and communities, with a broad understanding of cultural protocols and community engagement
- Demonstrated ability to build, sustain and leverage effective internal and external networks with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate, persuade, liaise and negotiate with a wide range of people including those at senior levels and external to the organisation
- Demonstrated skills in undertaking projects, a high level of organisational ability, and experience in managing a personal workload while working and contributing as a member of a team in a busy environment with conflicting demands
