- **Monday to Friday**: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- **Saturday**: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
- **Sunday**: Closed

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a **Medical Receptionist**, you will be the face of Esk Medical Centre, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. Your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming environment and supporting our team to deliver the highest standard of care.
This dynamic position includes managing patient appointments, handling inquiries, and completing a variety of administrative tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Patient Scheduling and Appointment Management**: Welcome patients and visitors warmly, assist with appointment scheduling, and ensure efficient management of the clinic's calendar.
- **Front Desk Operations**: Maintain an organized, professional, and inviting reception area, reflecting the clinic's high standards.
- **Patient Communication**: Address patient inquiries, concerns, and feedback with empathy and clarity, ensuring a positive experience.
- **Administrative Support**: Accurately update patient records, including demographics, medical histories, and insurance details, while maintaining confidentiality.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with medical and administrative staff to ensure seamless clinic operations and support patient care.
- **Billing and Payments**: Process patient payments, manage billing inquiries, and liaise with insurance providers as needed.
- **Problem Solving**: Handle unexpected situations or urgent requests with professionalism and poise.
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in medical software systems (e.g., Best Practice) and strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with great attention to detail.
- A professional, approachable demeanor and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with billing systems and insurance processes is an advantage.
