Job Title:
Warehouse Operations Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead a team and ensure the smooth coordination of goods received, documented, processed, and receipted from one of our major customers.
This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations, ensuring all incoming shipments are accurately received, documented, and processed, and maintaining compliance with SOPs and WHS.
About the Role:
You will play a pivotal role in our business, leading a team to achieve KPIs while maintaining accuracy and safety within the team. Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising the day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations
Ensuring all incoming shipments are accurately received, documented, and processed
Maintaining compliance with SOPs and WHS
Leading, training, and supporting a team of operators
Allocating tasks and monitoring team performance, productivity, and adherence to KPIs
Acting as the first point of contact for escalations and problem resolution
Liaising with drivers, warehouse personnel, and transport planners to coordinate delivery schedules
Ensuring proper labelling, barcoding, and system updates to support logistics functions
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid forklift licence and experience
A strong understanding of logistics and transport operations
Leadership experience in a warehousing, transport, or logistics environment
Proficiency in logistics systems and tools (SAP and scanners)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and time management
