Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance activities
  • Effectively manage inventory levels and stock turnover
  • Optimize warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation regarding warehousing, handling, and shipping
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and transportation providers
  • Recruit, coach, motivate, and develop personnel
  • Inspect products for defects and damage
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of warehouse operations and employee performance
  • Manage conflict situations effectively
  • Determine staffing requirements and allocate workload efficiently
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory, document essential information, and utilize reports to assess warehouse status
