**The Opportunity**:
Partnered with our host **Malcolm Thompson Pumps (WA)** we are recruiting a Warehousing Trainee who is keen to learn on the job while completing a **TLI30321 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations**.

This position is also open to school leavers and is a 24-month full-time traineeship, based at **Perth Airport.**

**Job Details**:
You will be hosted by **Malcolm Thompson Pumps (WA)** who were established over 50 years ago and are one of Australia's leading pump companies. **Malcom Thompson Pumps (WA) **provide a complete range of pump solutions to a diverse range of clients. Through their long established highly regarded team, they deliver a complete pump package solution as well as service and repair options.

This two-year traineeship will give you the opportunity to become qualified in warehousing and you will be mentored by industry professionals, while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework.

Your duties will include, but is not limited to:

- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup, according to schedule (this involves pick, load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Maintain inventory accuracy and keep quality standards high for audits
- Report any discrepancies in inventory
- Keep a clean and safe working environment
- Communicate and cooperate with team leader and team members
- Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment safely
- Follow quality and service standards and comply with procedures

**About You**:
In addition, you will:

- Have completed a minimum of year 10
- Have the desire to learn and have a positive attitude
- Great communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to ask questions
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment will be well regarded, but is not essential
- Reliable and punctual
- Be safety-minded and a team player
- Have excellent listening skills and able to follow instructions
- Be able to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol, and Police Check paid for by MIGAS
