Respiratory Scientist Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Scientist
Location: Dubbo, NSW
Hours per Week: 38
The role involves conducting a range of respiratory investigations for diagnosing and managing respiratory diseases with training and support from our Senior Respiratory Scientist or Respiratory Physician. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a team environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct respiratory investigations using advanced diagnostic equipment;
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients with respiratory diseases;
Provide educational support to patients and families regarding respiratory health and disease management;
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results;
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a relevant undergraduate degree (or higher) in a field related to respiratory science and have experience working in a clinical setting. A postgraduate qualification in a related field would be highly regarded. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role as is the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
