**About Our Client and Role**

Our client is a Local Council located in the East of Melbourne and requires an experienced Road maintenance crew member to join their Works team ASAP.

This position requires you to have **experience operating** machinery along with tickets to use them, as well as a traffic control card.

Your goal is to provide quality services in the provision of road maintenance and minor construction work including the maintenance of roads, shoulders, open drains, car parks, and paths.

**The Successful Applicant requires**:

- Demonstrated ability to operate a range of Asphalt/Roads & Drains plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Current Victorian MR Drivers Licence and a certificate of competency for a relevant item of plant
- Experience in the following is desirable: concrete pits, asphalting, roads, signage and drainage.
- Demonstrated ability to work diligently and enthusiastically with mínimal supervision

A current Police Check and drug & alcohol checking is required before commencement and to be Covid Vaccinated in line with government mandates.
