Mount Sylvia Fresh, a third-generation family farm nestled deep in the rich farming region of the Lockyer Valley, is seeking a **dedicated Packing Team Manager & Logistics Coordinator** to join our growing team. **About the Role**
As the Packing Team Manager & Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of packing shed operations and logistics from the very moment our produce enters the packing shed, to its dispatch, receival and beyond In addition, our ideal applicant will be willing to collaborate with the leadership team on areas of improvement, implementation of new processes and the maintenance of our stringent quality standards.
This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role best suited to someone who thrives under pressure and is passionate about food quality, safety, and team leadership. No two days are the same, and there will be new challenges to meet every single day - we are looking for someone who will meet these challenges head-on with a focused, pragmatic and positive attitude and a professional touch.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinating with the Quality Control Supervisor to ensure orders are packed and prepared for dispatch on time.
- Ensuring all labels and paperwork for orders are processed, printed and correct.
- Maintaining an adequate supply of CHEP, VPS and other Packaging Products.
- Liaison with Transport Companies and Customers on orders, order quantities and commitments, delays, arrivals and other quality issues.
- Reviewing invoices for inbound deliveries and receivables.
- Coordination with QC Supervisor to ensure that all requirements of Freshcare, HARPS and customer specifications are met.
- Leadership, direction and training of Shed Staff.
- Management and monitoring of Quality Control and Packing processes.
- Liaison with Management and providing reports on product quality, day-to-day operations and employee performance and conduct.
- Liaison with Management to ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety obligations.
- Direction and assistance of the QC Supervisor with their duties.
- Participation in the development of improvements to processes, systems and SOPs.
- Other duties below your level relevant to your skills and training as required.
**Essential Requirements**
- Professional, can-do attitude.

- **Relevant qualification in warehousing/supply chain operations an advantage**:
- Work on Saturdays, where required.
- Good English language ability.
- Incredible attention to detail and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to multitask and work at a fast pace, reacting to changing situations.
- A proven understanding of customer specifications on size and quality and the ability to provide clear instruction on processes regarding these specifications.
- Good computer literacy and knowledgeable in advanced use of Microsoft Excel, 2iC, LiveFarmer and other web platforms utilised by Mount Sylvia Fresh.
- Relevant technological skills relating to workflow improvement and automation.
- A safety-oriented and quality-focused attitude.
- Adherence to the Company's standards on presentation, food safety, workplace health and safety, and hygiene.
- Great leadership and communication skills and the ability to effectively lead a team towards success.
- A company-minded focus on compliance and quality.
- Prior industry-relevant experience in Management, Leadership, Quality Management Systems and Cold Chain Supply.
- Experience leading a multicultural workforce from various language backgrounds.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on complex issues.
- Reliability and flexibility at work.
- A confidential approach to leadership and workmanship.
