**POSITION AVAILABLE**
As a Warehouse 2IC, you will be responsible for managing and leading cost-effective warehousing and dispatch activities across all shifts and rosters, including wholesale, meeting organisational targets, and producing quality outcomes that emphasise workplace health and safety, food/hygiene safety and adherence to Department of Agriculture and other required legislative compliance.
This is a permanent fulltime position based at Kilcoy, working Monday to Friday. Previous leadership/management experience is required as this role will have 4 x direct reports and key relationships with Production (Kill & Bone), Maintenance/Engineering, Protein Solutions and HR teams.
- Planning, leading and coordination of warehousing teams
- Day to day running of load out
- Ensuring smooth operations of container loading, wholesale, and local deliveries
- Implementing change in waste management, stock control and DIFOT strategies to optimise production results
- Workforce planning and organisation of training, development and coaching for new and existing employees
- Delivering clear and consistent communication across teams
- Proactively managing underperformance and disciplinary outcomes with relevant team members in consultation with Operations Manager
- Developing and maintaining working instructions and SOPs across functional responsibilities

- Warehouse management experience (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and experience with AX Dynamics desirable
- People management/leadership (desirable but not essential)
- Experience in supply chain and inventory control
- Knowledge of WHS requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Results and solutions driven
