We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working with children to join our vibrant team of OSHC Educators

**Requirements**:

- A valid paid Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain.
- Experience working with with children in an education setting (desired, but not required)
- A positive attitude, patience and ability to work as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Actively supervise, and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Foster a rich play environment consistent with the Framework for School Age Care - My Time, Our Place.
- Create a warm, caring and collaborative environment for all children attending the service.
- Be actively involved with children in activities.
- Be aware of children's needs and abilities and meet these in a manner that is appropriate.
- Educate children through modelling and the demonstration of appropriate behaviours.
- Orient new children to the service, ensuring they feel safe and supported.
- Follow all Before and After School Care and Vacation Care routines, completing duties in line with the daily duties listing and additional as requested.
- Fulfil duties associated with mandatory reporting guidelines in line with the Child Protection legislation and the service's policies.
- Co-operate and work collaboratively with families, ensuring regular communication and ensuring that families feel comfortable and encouraged to become involved in the service.
