**The Role**:
Lindsay Fresh is involved in transhipping, ripening services, and produce storage for customers and market agents as well as cross-docking, fumigation and import/export. Managing a team of 120 employees, you will have the support of an experienced leadership team.

**Your leadership responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- _Safe Always_ - lead by example in a safe working environment and ensure safe practices are following by employees, customer, and visitors.
- Grow and maintain your already strong understanding of the produce sector, including the import and export of produce to overseas customers.
- Professionally lead complex environments including local fleets, cross dock warehouses - multiple commodity and temperature zones and collaborating with the broader team to maximise linehaul capacity.
- Provide strong leadership to a diverse team of employees, managing performance, objective setting, and profit & loss management.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring to communicate effectively and deliver on commitments.
- Responsible for the safe and cost-effective management of all operational and administrative activity, budgeted labour, and site maintenance requirements.

**About You**:
To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
Established experience in a senior leadership role ideally in a transport, produce or the import/export industry.
- Demonstrated exposure to the import and export industry, ideally within the produce industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing organisational finances, implementing cost effective options and business reporting.
- A highly motivated, genuine and positive leadership style - leading by example.
- Exceptional customer service & interpersonal skills.
- High level reasoning, problem solving and planning skills.
- Professional presentation with a friendly and helpful manner with an ability to deal effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to manage your own time, meet deadlines and take responsibility for your output and the quality of your work.
