**The role**

As the Air Transport Coordinator, you will coordinate the completion of customs entries as required by ABF and serve as intermediary between, offshore processing team, importers, shipping companies and airlines. This role requires someone who is highly organised, time efficient and always looking for the most cost-effective solution

**Your daily responsibilities**
- Responsible to drive carriers & meet customer delivery in Full & On-Time
- Monitoring & Coordination of Air, LCL & FCL deliveries.
- Availability & Storage monitoring
- To ensure goods that are released are compliant with Australian Customs & Quarantine regulations at all times.
- Maintain timely and accurate communication with clients regarding shipment progress and delivery commitments.
- Expediting dispatch of goods in accordance with client requirements
- Ensure entry of delivery and POD data into the appropriate operational systems
- Liaise with appropriate people in regards to AQIS directions and Customs inspections at offsite facilities.

**Who you are**
- A professional Freight Forwarder with minimum one year experience in Freight Forwarding
- Sound knowledge of import processes and documentation
- Solid communication skills
- Someone who is keen to learn and has the right attitude
- Ability to mulit-task and prioritise according to urgency.
- Computer savvy with knowledge of Microsoft programs
