The Opportunity
Are you ready to turn your passion and trade skills for gardening and outdoor aesthetics into a rewarding career?
Situated at the beautiful Main Beach, Sea World is looking for its next grounds star.
As a Groundsperson, you will help deliver a high standard of park presentation and enhance the aesthetics of the grounds of our property.
You will also have opportunities to add your own creativity and imagination to our amazing property.
Enjoy the work-life balance with early starts and early finishes while still completing a 38 hour work week.
Shifts range from 5:00am starts to 1:30–2:00pm finishes, with an 11:30am–12:00pm finish every 5th shift based on business needs.
Your Day To Day
General landscaping and garden maintenance
Mowing, hedging, spraying and general labouring duties
Operation, maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery
Early starts with early finishes
Following all policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for team members and guests
What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Horticulture (highly desirable)
Demonstrated experience in a similar position with knowledge of horticulture
Current manual drivers licence (highly desirable)
Current bobcat, excavator, back-hoe, truck licence or tractor driving experience is advantageous
Strong understanding and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
Physically fit with abilities including carrying, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, twisting
Available to start at 5:00am and work on any days including weekends and school holidays
