The Opportunity

Are you ready to turn your passion for gardening and outdoor aesthetics into a rewarding career? Sea World is seeking a Groundsperson to contribute to park presentation and grounds aesthetics at a beautiful Main Beach location. You may have opportunities to add your own creativity to our property.

Enjoy a balanced work schedule with an early start and early finish within a 38-hour work week. Shifts typically run from early morning to early afternoon, with occasional variations based on business needs.

Your Day To Day
  • General landscaping and garden maintenance
  • Mowing, hedging, spraying and general labouring duties
  • Operation, maintenance and cleaning of tools and machinery
  • Adherence to all policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for team members and guests
What You'll Bring
  • Certificate III in Horticulture highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position with knowledge of horticulture
  • A current manual drivers licence highly desirable
  • Current bobcat, excavator, back-hoe, truck licence or tractor driving experience is advantageous
  • High level of understanding and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
  • Physically fit with the ability to carry, lift, bend, push, pull, stand and twist
  • Ability to start at 5:00am and work on any days including weekends and school holidays
