As a
Youth Worker,
you'll provide trauma-informed, therapeutic support to children and young people. You'll be part of a team that believes in the power of connection, healing, and hope—working to create safe, nurturing environments where young people can thrive.
What You'll Do
Support daily care needs and plan activities aligned with individual care plans and goals.
Role model positive behaviours and apply age-appropriate strategies.
Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding youth-related matters.
Safely transport clients in accordance with legal and safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate and compliant program records and documentation.
Deliver culturally inclusive services, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, to support sustainable outcomes in a culturally safe environment.
What You'll Bring
Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent.
Experience working with children and young people in care.
Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
Current driver's licence (P2 minimum).
Understanding of child protection and domestic violence frameworks (desirable).
Possess or the ability to obtain a National Police Check, Blue Card (Working with Children) and a Licensed Care Services (LCS).
