Job Title:
Release Manager
Australian citizenship is required for this role. The successful candidate must be able to obtain Baseline security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Govern the integrated release calendar for enterprise systems and program deployments.
Coordinate release activities across business units, technical teams, and project delivery groups.
Lead release planning forums, make go/no-go decisions, and assess deployment readiness.
Review and enhance release and deployment processes, aligned to ITIL/change/transition frameworks.
Develop and maintain release documentation (procedures, templates, runbooks, decision logs).
Advocate for automated, auditable release practices.
Provide oversight for releases within large ICT programs.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and readiness requirements.
Collaborate with senior program/project managers to identify dependencies, risks, and impacts.
Lead governance forums to enforce release policies.
Advise senior stakeholders on release risks, impacts, and mitigations.
Communicate complex technical/scheduling matters to business leaders.
Coach project teams on release management expectations and best practices.
Requirements:

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of ITIL and change/transition frameworks.
Understanding of security clearance requirements.
