**St James' Chapel is a congregation of St Paul's Castle Hill in the Anglicare Retirement Village that exists to provide spiritual support, comfort, joy and hope to mature aged people**. Our services are marked by attending to the needs of our people. Good liturgical services, mostly well known and loved hymns and preaching that isn't too long and that has a particular focus on meeting the needs of mature aged folk.

**We are currently seeking a part-time Ministry Assistant.** You will provide support for the Minister at St James' Chapel and Barton Hall, for congregational services and Pastoral care of the congregations. This role may include leading services, preaching, training volunteers, Alpha courses, small groups, and other special services.

You will also be assisting with providing pastoral support and care for members of the congregation. This will be done alongside and in partnership with Anglicare Chaplains and Pastoral Carers and may extend to non-congregational members in the village from time to time, in consultation with Anglicare.
