**Job Description**:

The key accountabilities for this role are:

- Provide parts identification to customers in a timely manner
- Provide viable alternatives when items are unavailable
- Use TRD, Core and parts information library to correctly identify items
- Clarify confusing product data and rectify errors and reporting errors to the data source.
- Assess availability of parts
- Order and expedite parts supply
- Investigate alternate local supply options & Big Truck support
- Progressive update to dealer on status of order
- Supports in Inventory Data Maintenance by New Part loading and Secondary to Primary conversions
- Conducts Parts price investigation and recommendation

This role requires a customer service focus with technical knowhow and interest in solving difficult tasks. Essential is willingness to learn and adapt in a challenging environment. Works in a team environment with Parts Team personnel and in direct cooperation with Parts-Team Leader

The Parts Interpreter role will suit someone who has:

- Formal qualification in Parts Interpreting
- Qualifications in Inventory Management
- Minimum 3 years Industry experience in similar field
- Experience with Inventory Control Processes
- Relevant industry experience in capital equipment or automotive industry would be an advantage
- Experience or formal training with ERP systems
- Knowledge of data transfer and formatting
