**Position: NDIS Employment Mentor**
**Location**: Mandurah to South Perth
**Employment Type**: [Casual]

**About the Role**:
As an NDIS Employment Mentor, you will work closely with participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to support their journey toward meaningful and sustainable employment. Your role will involve mentoring, skill-building, and collaborating with employers to create opportunities and break down barriers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with NDIS participants to identify their strengths, interests, and employment goals.
- Provide coaching in areas like resume building, interview preparation, and workplace skills.
- Collaborate with employers to advocate for inclusive hiring and identify suitable job opportunities.
- Offer ongoing support to participants as they transition into and sustain employment.
- Facilitate workshops and training to build confidence and job readiness.

**What We're Looking For**:

- A passion for supporting individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in employment services, mentoring, or working with individuals with disabilities (desirable).
- Knowledge of the NDIS and its employment-related supports (preferred but not essential).
- The ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including participants, families, and employers.
- NDIS Workers Scrrening check or willingness to apply
- NDIS workers Module
- Drivers license, reliable car and insurance
- Working with Children's Check

Pay: $43.23 - $44.59 per hour

Supplementary Pay:

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (preferred)
- Full Driver Licence (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)
