**Hamilton Vet Clinic** is an established veterinary practice in Newcastle, we are looking for a fabulous new **Practice Manager** to join and lead our team We currently have 6 experienced vets with a team of nurses, receptionists, and boarding facility.

We have a strong focus on fear free patient care with a commitment to the community, and pride ourselves on excellent preventative care and client education.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting and coaching the team
- Ensuring smooth day to day running of the practice
- Stock management, rostering, and other practice administration tasks
- Managing business financials such as budgeting and P & L reporting
- Identify staff training needs
- Providing exceptional customer service and care to all clients and patients
- Local marketing activities
- Growth mindset and the development of new business to business opportunities

**The skills you will require**:
**Essential**:

- Desire to lead, engage and inspire a team
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
- Good business acumen
- Strong coaching and leadership skills
- Previous experience in a management role

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the veterinary/or medical industry
- Cert IV in Vet nursing or equivalent
- 4 years' experience as a Vet Nurse
- Experience with Ezyvet
