.The Westport Club, based on the banks of the Hastings River, is one of Port Macquarie's premier venues that offers our members and guests an a la carte restaurant, waterside cafe, a thriving events centre, an engaging gaming floor and a cocktail lounge with pristine views.
The Westport Club is part of Mingara Leisure Group, we have five registered clubs across NSW, a fitness and aquatics centre, world class athletics track and a hotel.

A great opportunity When it comes to HR, this role will give you a taste of everything, including: Supporting the growth of our organisation by attracting top talent who align with our vision, mission and valuesProviding best practice HR advice to our operational leaders to build their own capability as a people leader in our organisationSupporting the Human Resources lifecycle including onboarding, training, benefits, engagement and retention, and performance managementContributing towards our collaborative organisational culture by developing and implementing engagement programs and initiatives, developing leadership capability and actively role modelling our values.
To do this, it's not just about sitting behind a desk, it's about proactively engaging with our team in their work environmentManaging workers compensation claims and return to workManaging the HR budget, preparing monthly reports on key HR metrics, and analysing opportunities to be progressiveHR administration to ensure our employee records are always up to dateActively participating in HR projects across the group as we continually evolve the way we do things What Success Looks Like Our ideal candidate is passionate about finding greatness within already great people
We're looking for someone who has: Tertiary qualifications in Human ResourcesDemonstrated experience as a HR Manager with experience navigating complex people issuesThe ability to take off the 'corporate hat' and be agile in an industry that is continually evolving.
Importantly this is an end-to-end HR role so you need to be willing to be 'hands on'.
Values trust and establishes credibility and confidence in stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Expertise in providing solutions-based Human Resources advice and strategies to managers and the wider team.Experience in interpreting industrial instruments.Excellent organisational and administration skills with a high level of attention to detail.The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
