Asteel Powdercoaters is looking for a hard working person to start immediately who is willing to learn and further develop their skills in a well established family owned powder coating business. Asteel Powdercoaters specialises in providing powder coating and sandblasting services to both domestic and commercial customers. We service a range of industries including industrial, electrical, marine, building/construction, automotive, speedway, racing and much more.

**About the Role**

There will be opportunities for the successful applicant to be trained on the job in all facets of the powder coating industry within our factory - MAY SUIT SCHOOL LEAVER.

**General factory duties of the position include**:

- Assist with powder coating processes.
- Cleaning and preparing jobs for powder coating - hanging/racking and deracking materials.
- Powdercoating duties (rotational basis).
- Working with powered tools including sanders, grinders and drills.
- Wrapping/packing materials.
- Various physical activities including heavy lifting.
- Use of a forklift at various times.
- Other general factory duties as required.

**Skills and experience**:

- Previous experience with powder coating would be highly regarded, but not essential.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing.
- Previous experience working with powered tools.
- Reliable, responsible/cooperative and motivated to work.
- Be able to work well within a team.
- A forklift licence is preferable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Kardinya, WA 6163: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
